Guestbook

First, I want to thank Stan for putting this site together. This is an awesome site, that I frequent often to remember my friend.

This is difficult to write. I wish he were here right now. I met Rob through his friend, John Trama. They lived in the apartment above me in Portage, IN. I remember the first time I met Rob. He had a laugh that no one could ever forget. I know you are smiling when you read this, because you can hear that laugh, right now. Rob became an everyday part of my life for over a year. I can still hear him saying "Robs HUNGRY" in this weird high-pitched voice, and wanting to make a run to Taco Bell.

So many things remind me of him. He could always make me laugh. He would come home from work and stop off at my apartment before heading upstairs. He would always say, to our friend, "Jade, take off my boots!" Ya know, she never did, but says that she wishes that he could just ask her one more time, and she would do it! I remember a very funny story about Rob that I would like to share. He was making popcorn in my apartment one night. He was using the Whirley Popper ( Thanks to Mikey ) and wasnt sure how much popcorn to put in , but was stubborn enough that he wouldnt ask. So I started to ask him how much popcorn he put in, and he said " Kim, I know how to make popcorn, Its not that hard!!" A few short minutes later I hear all this racket from the kitchen and popcorn is flying everywhere, hes dancing around the kitchen with this popper in his hand, the smoke detector is now going off, he throws the popcorn in the sink and grabs a towel to fan the smoke detector and trips as hes going down the hall. Now hes just pissed off. He looks over at me and Jade and says "I dont want to hear a word out of you two!" We have laughed over that story many, many, many times.

Rob was always content with whatever he was doing. Whether it be hanging out watching a movie, playing a trivia game, talking on the phone, watching "Friends" or "The Simpsons", starting a "new" project, playing playstation or just going for a drive. I am blessed to have shared so many memories with him. Rob was a very special person and was loved by many people. I think of him daily and miss him a lot. I hope that he is at peace and watching over all of us.

Rob, know that "the lady downstairs" loves you very much and I look foward to the day that we meet again, my friend. Until then, thank you for being one of my guardian angels and keep Toni company until we meet again.

Your Friend Forever,
Kimmi ( Kimmhea )
