As I look back on my time with Rob, I smile. I smile because of the memories we made together. Rob blessed my life with so much laughter and wonderful times together as a couple. With so many pictures to look at and letters to read, it is surreal to me to even comprehend the loss. Rob loved many things in life, but the most precious thing in his life was his family. He would do anything for his family. If anyone were to mess with his sisters, they would be very sorry they had! His sisters and mom were his number one girls in his life. Family was the center of his universe. God makes every individual out of his own image, knowing every moment for every person before they are even born. I truly feel God sent Rob to each of us as a comfort zone for our lives. One person touching as many lives as he did is an amazing thing to be done. The time Rob was in my life was a whirlwind of fun, laughter, talking, road trips, discoveries, family times, projects, friends, eating (more for Rob than anyone!), singing, and I could go on and on with this list. What I am trying to say is that Rob was here for a purpose, as we all are. This loss is a hard loss for so many of us. We need to take the lesson learned and be grateful for being part of a great plan. Rob was an amazing person with an amazing quality of making whoever he was with feeling like the most important person in the world. It was not a coincidence or "luck of the draw" to have known Rob, it was a blessing for all.
