Rob,
It's still hard to believe you're gone. Everyday, I see things that remind me of you. It could be someone wearing a Harley flame shirt, a Ford pickup truck, that stupid disco song you used to sing to annoy me - "Burn Baby Burn" (Disco Inferno), or something as silly as the color orange.
There are so many things that I will miss about you. The heated debates you and your dad used to have, your loud cackling laugh, the way you'd fall asleep on the couch, how you could never turn down free food, and so many other small things it would take forever to list. But most of all, though, I'm just going to miss you.
I am glad that you were a part of my life, and I am especially happy to have gotten to know you as an adult. The night you died, on our way to meet you for dinner, your dad and I were talking about how proud we were of you. You had a good job, a nice girlfriend, and things seemed to be going your way. I'm glad that you had the opportunities to experience a lot in your short life and even though you are no longer here physically, I know you will always be with us in spirit.
Love you and miss you always...
Your stepmom,
Deanna
